Alistair Forbes, owner of Highland Pharmacy Central on Scotland Street in Roxburgh, has the perhaps unsurprising hobby of playing the bagpipes, which he first learned at the tender age of 10. Reporter Angela Woods talks to Alistair about piping, making time to teach and potential hearing loss
How did you get into playing the bagpipes?
As a 10-year-old listening to the City of Hastings pipe band. My parents are Scots, so they encouraged m, Alistair Forbes in Edinburgh, The owner of Roxburgh’s only pharmacy on a visit to Scotland for the Edinburgh Tattoo in 2003
