The Countdown Pharmacy team with cultural guide Haare Williams at the Countdown Pharmacy conference
The ELearning team were in action at the Countdown Pharmacy two-day conference in Wiri, Auckland, this week.
During the conference, over 40 pharmacists and pharmacy managers got together in an interactive, and at times, moving workshop with cultural guide Haare Williams.
Using storytelling and small group conversation, Dr Williams guided the pharmacists through the articles and principles of Te Tiriti o Waitangi and their continued relevance in New Zealand.
The Introduction to Hauora Maori workshop ran over 3.5 hours and is endorsed by the Pharmaceutical Society of New Zealand for 7 Group 2 points in M1.5.
