Northland pharmacists spearhead initiative to assist asthmatics

In a suspected first for New Zealand, pharmacists in Northland are being funded by the local DHB to offer a new intervention for asthma patients. The initiative is targeted to help Māori and Pasifika people, who have some of the worst rates of asthma-related hospitalisation and mortality in the country.
