The ongoing trial of the risk-based audit framework, which has seen 90 Auckland area pharmacies visited by unannounced auditors in recent months, has been a topic of controversy for pharmacists. The prevailing argument is that you don't need to worry if you aren't doing anything wrong, but others feel it is unfairly inconveniencing already stretched businesses.
