Joint pain is any pain affecting the joints – the connections between bones that allow us to move. For many people, joint pain reduces the ability to work, do household tasks and leisure activities, and can lead to fatigue and weakened muscles. It can also be very frustrating, as activities once performed easily may no longer be possible. Unfortunately, joint wear and tear is irreversible, but there is much pharmacy staff can do to help patients manage the condition.
