The month of July swiftly went from ordinary to extraordinary for Auckland School of Pharmacy research fellow Rachael Sumner, after she was offered not one but two fellowships worth a combined $416,356 within the space of 24 hours.
“I was exceedingly lucky…you never expect to be awarded more than one,” says Dr Sumner.
