Part-time Manager, Medical Aid Abroad (MAA) - Auckland
MAA operates from Greenlane Clinical Centre (Epsom, Auckland) and gathers together high-quality medical and surgical goods from within NZ, ready for donation to medical work in developing countries.
The manager will guide and encourage our experienced volunteer team, almost all of whom have a medical background, as they receive inbound goods and then prepare and package outbound goods for export.
Several times per year you would report to the MAA board.
The manager receives emailed requests and ensures that suitable goods are donated, packaged well, have appropriate documentation and are ready for despatch as agreed. The Manager also ensures the stock database is up to date and accurate.
The manager’s hours vary but involve approximately 4 hours every Wednesday morning (9am to 1pm) plus some flexible work from home - up to about 22 hours per fortnight.
Why Join MAA? If you want your life to make a difference working with a talented medical team, then please contact us. Let’s explore the possibilities together. There’s lots more I’d love to share with you. Take a look at our website: https://maa.org.nz/
