In response to the Ministry of Health funding telehealth services through pharmacy, Katrina Azer, one of New Zealand’s first digital pharmacists, provides an overview. Ms Azer has been providing telepharmacy as a virtual clinical pharmacist at Tend Health for more than 12 months
Patients are more likely to disclose non-adherence virtually than in person. Let’s just say from experience it is not quite as confrontational!
